About Me

Hello !

My name is Carol Correa and I am a licensed massage therapist (LMT#MT010119). Graduated from Sanford Brown College July 2014. Have well over 1000 hours of hands on experience.

I have never had a massage until a couple years ago when a friend also training to become a massage therapist practiced on me. After the massage I felt so great and relaxed and sore ! That was my first step towards massage! When I first started training as a massage therapist, my preconception of massage was that it was relaxing and pleasant for the client but I had no idea of the profound, beneficial physiological effects massage could have.  When I began to discover what massage could do, both in relaxation and in treating specific problems, I was fascinated and amazed.

Massage is particularly powerful in helping restore the connection between body and mind. It works by increasing awareness of the parts of the body which are causing you pain. You then begin to realize, in everyday life, the things you are doing which causes that pain or makes it worse, for example your posture while sitting at a desk, driving long hours in traffic or standing up all day on hard flooring or just the everday stresses life throws at you! You can then begin to make small changes that will help relieve the stress on the body which might be causing the pain.

I truly enjoy easing the pain of people and helping them feel great and rejuvinated!
